Maintenance Engineer 2

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.0 | Full Time | Schedule is primarily Monday - Friday. Would also be on-call on a rotating basis as follows: Monday - Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. This position is to provide support to all of Asante's outbuildings in Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass. This position also includes shift differentials (extra pay) for swing, night, and weekend hours.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Engineer 2 for Asante maintains and repairs a variety of equipment and buildings throughout the organization. May also repair furnishings and grounds as requested; assists Maintenance Engineer III as assigned (i.e. in the case of critical mechanical equipment/systems); and may work under the direction of a specific unit/department or for all of Asante. Preferred experience includes HVAC, chiller/boiler, refrigeration, and painting.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in performing skilled building and mechanical maintenance tasks, including considerable experience in maintenance of plumbing and HVAC systems is required.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of auto insurance is required. Must obtain Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Oregon (if applicable).
