Our restaurants are rooted in outstanding hospitality and a constant focus on every nuance of the guest experience in a casual environment. Blue Plate Taco is Baja-inspired coastal Mexican cuisine. We offer high quality food in a casual, beachy-chic environment. The vibe is exceptional, and we are looking for people who truly understand how to give the guest genuine hospitality, making them feel like they are on vacation.
We have a great work atmosphere, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, right across from the Santa Monica Pier. With both regular guests and visiting guests, we are consistently busy and are looking for stellar BARTENDER candidates to help round out the service team. You must be able to work in a small fast paced environment, have a solid work ethic and most importantly a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Here is what we are looking for:
- 2 + years serving experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
- Substantial food, wine, beer and cocktail knowledge
- Have an eye for detail, cleanliness, efficiency and organization
- The ability to multitask under pressure with a smile
- A true team player - proactive and always going above and beyond
- The ability to make appropriate decisions in challenging situations
- Experience with touch screen POS systems
- Flexible schedule, with mandatory weekend availability
