Visitor Services Coordinator (8:30am-4:30pm, Tues-Sat)

To manage day-to-day operations at the Visitor Services desk, including both walk up and tour/group visitation. Handle and reconcile cash and credit card transactions related to admissions, memberships, and tours/events. Manage Visitor Services software, including troubleshooting, data accuracy, and reporting. Check in, prepare, and price wholesale merchandise to be featured in the Museum Store. Oversee visitor safety and building security, monitoring UNL security camera feeds. In conjunction with Operations Manager and Operations Assistant, hire, train, and supervise part-time Visitor Services personnel. Assist volunteer docents working with Visitor Services and Education Coordinator, insuring positive visitor experiences. Keep displays and front desk area tidy and clean.
