About Zarella Pizzeria & Taverna: Zarella's features a mix of tavern-style and artisan pizzas, an array of entrees and small bites, as well as fresh salads, alongside an ever-rotating menu of Italian specialties, promising a dining experience that is both nostalgic and unique. Food Runner's Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the bar. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers and condiments.
  • Responsible for the main stock, cutting and sorting of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Greet all guests in a courteous manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests expectations
  • Check guests for proper identification, detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations
  • Prepare mixed drinks for service to customers
  • Properly open and pour wine at the bar
  • Open and close the bar by setting up and breaking down the bar and service stations
  • Correctly inputting orders into a posi at point of sale and creates a check for each guest
  • Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank

Qualifications:
  • Must have weekend availability (Friday, Saturday & Sundays)
  • This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team
  • 3 years of bartending experience required
  • Genuinely hospitable and caring of each and every guests experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
  • Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
  • Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($11.02) plus tips
