Perform a wide variety of routine preventive and/or minor maintenance and utility worker duties in accordance with individual assignments.
Work from detailed written or oral instructions, specified and established procedures, and supplied manufacturers specifications to perform preventive maintenance.
Clean and service tanks, conveyors, paint booths and equipment.
As specified prepare, mix, add and/or change solutions of chemicals and oil coolants on machinery and equipment. Lubricate as required.
Set and adjust belts and thermostats, dismantle, a just, and clean all equipment and related components used such as filters, screens, sumps, etc., and replace components as needed.
Move, install, arrange or rearrange furniture, office furnishings and equipment.
Replace casters, legs, drawers pulls, etc.
Renovate repairable items of furniture and equipment.
Maintain lawns, sidewalks and roadways on Company property.
Make out and maintain preventive maintenance reports of permanent records.
Assist tradesmen as assigned.
When emergency or unusual conditions arise pertaining to maintenance department operations or at request of Supervisor, perform other maintenance duties usually of a less skilled nature.
Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety; contribute to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator-required upkeep; segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
Refer unusual or difficult problems to senior workers, Working Leader, or Supervisor.
