Facility Maintenance Worker
Location: Milpitas and Menlo Park
Employment Type: Full-Time / [M-F]
Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 per year

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Worker to support the general upkeep, repair, and functionality of our facility. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including HVAC filter changes, drywall repairs, minor electrical work, large equipment movement, and light framing. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe, and operational work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including:

-HVAC filter replacement and basic system checks
-Drywall patching, repair, and painting
-Minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches)
-Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing fixtures)
-General carpentry and light framing for office or operational improvements
-Safely assist with the movement and relocation of large equipment or furniture
-Inspect and maintain tools, machinery, and facility systems for proper operation
-Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times
-Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency calls
-Assist contractors or technicians with facility projects as needed
-Maintain records of maintenance activities, materials used, and inspections performed
-Support facility cleanliness and organization (indoor and outdoor spaces)

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-2+ years of experience in facility or building maintenance preferred
-Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
-Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
-Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs) and work at heights if necessary
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Valid drivers license (if equipment transport is required)

Working Conditions:
-Primarily on-site; requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the facility
-May be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, and industrial noise
-Occasional overtime, weekend, or after-hours work may be required based on operational needs

Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
-OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
-Forklift or scissor lift operation certification
