Full-Time Line Cook at HEX Superette

We showcase the best of local and artisan goodsfrom ferments and cheeses to produce and pantry staplesand provide a gathering space for neighbors and newcomers to connect over food and drink.

We are looking for a Line Cook to join our small, supportive team. This full-time role is perfect for someone with a little experience whos eager to grow in a collaborative kitchen that values scratch cooking, fermentation, and seasonal ingredients. Youll prepare thoughtful dishes, bake (we make a lot of focaccia!), and work closely with the team to create food thats both delicious and rooted in purpose. We prioritize care, creativity, and making the most of whats in seasonwithout compromising on quality.

What Youll Do:
Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, efficiency, and love
Bake breads like our signature focaccia (training provided!)
Use seasonal produce creativelyminimizing waste, maximizing flavor
Participate in fermentation-forward food prep (youll learn a lot here)
Keep your station clean, organized, and up to health code standards
Communicate with a small team to ensure smooth, respectful service

What Were Looking For:
1+ years kitchen experience (but well train the right person)
A love of scratch cooking, fermentation, and seasonal food
Eagerness to grow in your craft and learn new techniques
Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Ability to work weekends
Respectful communication and a team-first mindset

What We Offer:
$18/hour to start; with a raise to $20/hr after 90 days based on performance
