Position Overview:

Merka Saltao is a bold new fast-casual Peruvian restaurant launching in Culver City, and we re building an opening crew that s as vibrant as our flavors. As a member of our Guest Experience Team, you ll be the face of the brand: weing guests, guiding them through the menu, running food, maintaining our dynamic mercado atmosp, and creating a fast, friendly, and memorable experience from start to finish.

You ll learn the ins and outs of modern Peruvian hospitality and help us deliver the kind of experience that keeps peopleing back. If you ve got good energy, hustle, and a love for great food we want you on the team.

What You ll Do

Greet and guide guests through our menu with warmth and confidence

Ensure every guest feels seen, supported, and satisfied

Run food with pride and precision

Maintain clean andanized service areas

Collaborate with the back-of-house team to keep the flow smooth and fast

Embrace training in Latin American flavors, menu knowledge, and brand storytelling

Show up on time, ready to grow, and contribute to a strong team culture

What We re Looking For

1+ years of experience in customer-facing hospitality or food service preferred (but not required)

Strongmunication skills andfort with fast-paced environments

A natural people-person friendly, grounded, respectful

Interest in Latin food and culture a big plus

Spanish language skills are wee but not required

A team-first attitude and the drive to learn, adapt, and improve

Able to obtain a Food Handler s certificate and maintain standards of excellence.
