$23-25/Hr. Maintenance Mechanic Needed

We are a food manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA that specializes in the production and packing of meat located in the city of Vernon currently looking for a maintenance mechanic.

As a maintenance mechanic you are responsible to maintaining the equipment of facility in good working conditions.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all equipment repairs and installations are performed to meet food and safety requirements.
Communicating with supervisor about any issues/ concerns.
Making sure mechanical systems are in good repair to prevent downtime
Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner
Complete weekly inspections for any deficiencies, concerns, and communicate to maintenance supervisor of the results.
Follow company safety and food safety policies
Must use lock out tag out when working on equipment.
Assist with other repairs or other work when needed
PPE Required
Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements:

3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Electrical experience
Troubleshooting skills
Read, write, speak English (Spanish is a plus)
Using hand tools
Solve problems using collected data
Understand lock out tag out procedures
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay:
Starting Pay: $23-25/HR DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday
Shift: 1st / 7:00AM-3:30PM (Overtime Required)
