Summary: The Catering Server is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The server should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The server is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown. This position executes the culinary event from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provided our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
• Assists with clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Responsible for the set up and breakdown of the event.
• Reports any incidents that guests might have to their superiors.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work all events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or CA alcohol Responsible Beverage Service servers' permit. Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
