What You’ll Do in This Role:
As a Housekeeper , you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and vibrant community! You’ll bring energy and attention to detail as you ensure our spaces are spotless, safe, and inviting. Your work helps cultivate a comfortable environment where everyone feels right at home, and you’re part of a team that strives to make every day brighter and more enjoyable for our residents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Vacuum and mop floors, carpets, and rugs.
- Cleans residents’ rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
- Change bed linens and make beds according to established standards.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, appliances, and utensils.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures.
What You’ll Need:
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment, preferred
- Must possess knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds
