Overview A private and busy family on the Upper East Side are seeking a full-time live-out housekeeper. The role also includes helping the full-time nanny with the 3-year-old and 5-year-old. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am - 5pm. The family does travel and it would be a major plus if you can accompany them. Responsibilities All general housekeeping Organizing and tidying of all areas Managing clothing and laundry including ironing Helping the nanny ex: when she takes the older one to school you will have the 3 year old for 30 minutes. Meal preparation for the children Stocking the kitchen Qualifications Great Laundress Works well on a team Knowledgeable and can be a guide to the parents while respecting their preferences when it comes to raising their child Gentle Organized Ability to stay over or travel would be a huge plus Requirements Posses a calming presence. Understand boundaries between principal and employee Occasional flexibility to stay later or travel over the weekend An up-to-date COVID vaccine Legal to work in the US Salary and Benefits Pay starts at $40 per hour and includes 10 hours of OT
