**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Ingredient Preparation:** Efficiently wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits. Measure and prepare ingredients following specific recipes or instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste.

- **Food Handling:** Assist in assembling simple dishes, including salads, sandwiches, and dressings, while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent cross-contamination.

- **Kitchen Support:** Collaborate with chefs and cooks to ensure timely meal preparation. Aid in the setup and restocking of workstations, ensuring all necessary tools and ingredients are readily available.

- **Equipment Operation:** Safely operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and blenders. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain optimal functionality.

- **Inventory Management:** Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages. Assist in receiving and storing shipments, ensuring proper stock rotation and storage conditions.

- **Quality Control:** Conduct regular inspections of ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards. Report any discrepancies or issues to the kitchen supervisor.

- **Sanitation and Hygiene:** Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including dishwashing and waste disposal.

- **Team Collaboration:** Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new menu items and kitchen protocols. Support fellow team members in achieving overall kitchen efficiency and success.

**Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Working Conditions:**

- The role involves standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.

**MUST be willing to get three certifications within the first 3 weeks of employment:

- TABC

- Food Handlers License

- Underground Storage Tank
