High School Diploma or GED; and 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferably in school environment. Minimum one (1) year of experience at or equivalent to the level of Custodian I. Experience with methods, practices, equipment, and materials used in various building and construction trades including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical, concrete, and mechanical repair a plus. Work boots are required for this position.

This position may be expected to work independently, maintain a safe and sanitary environment of school facilities. The ideal candidate will also be able to quickly and effectively diagnose minor maintenance and repair problems and take appropriate action to resolve or request additional assistance.
