The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage operations within the hotel, including Banquets, our restaurant and bars, and the grab-and-go market. This position is a highly visible role who is heavily involved in the oversight and day-to-day management of the Food & Beverage operation., which is conveniently located in Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The expectation is that the Food & Beverage Manager is connecting daily and engaging with guests and colleagues through ongoing dialogue in their work areas to promote a positive and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with limited direction and guidance while maintaining a high level of efficiency and effectiveness. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service. The position will report directly to the Assistant Food & Beverage Director.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to\:

  • The Food & Beverage Manager will lead short and long-term planning and provide management support for hotel outlet operations.
  • They will direct and oversee the development of colleagues, including hiring, training, empowering, coaching, and counseling.
  • The manager will implement effective performance management practices to foster a high-performing team.
  • They will oversee payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budget for outlet operations.
  • The role involves collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • The manager will resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction and quality.
  • They will implement procedures to enhance guest and colleague satisfaction and ensure quality control for both food and beverage.
  • The manager will conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people.
  • They should have a minimum of 3 years of progressive hotel F&B management experience.
  • The candidate should possess professional presentation skills with a service-oriented style.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of success in high-volume concepts are essential.
  • A Hotel/Hospitality degree is required.
  • The candidate should have high energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to improve the bottom line.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills are necessary.
  • Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts is also important.
