Job Details The Hospitality Manager, in collaboration with colleagues in leadership at the hotel, will set and communicate standards and practices for the business to ensure a high performing and happy team. The Hospitality Manager works closely with colleagues, with input from senior leadership, to drive service each day and inspire team members to work together and hold one another accountable to the standards set. The Service Manager inspires, educates, and supports the bar, coffee shop and dining service teams to create the best dining experience for all guests and the best work environment and experience for all staff.

Among a variety of other duties and responsibilities shared alongside colleagues on the FOH team, the Hospitality Manager will oversee and supervise inventory and ordering, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and tipsheets for hourly employees. The candidate will have a passion for food, a solid knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and wine, and a commitment to effective and warm leadership.

Relevant Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Should be very hospitality driven with a great demeanor even under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Knowledge/experience in Office Administration.
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Should be well spoken, friendly and organized.
  • Prior experience running a successful business.
  • Proficient knowledge of systems and processes in restaurant management.
  • Ability to lead and empower a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and leadership in complex personnel matters.
