Job Details Lark Pizza is opening a new wood-fired pizza concept in Sumner 2025 and looking to expand our team and seeking a strong Server.
Candidates must have relevant Server experience within the hospitality industry. A strong knowledge base and passion for artisanal foods and wine/spirits/craft beer is paramount. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and overall success of the restaurants.
About Us:
Opening mid summer 2025, meet Lark Pizza , a new specialty pizza concept on the vibrant Guild Row campus in Avondale. Lark Pizza will serve neo-Neapolitan-style pizza with blistered, airy-yet-crisp crusts, topped with seasonal ingredients and Italian classics. The pizzeria promises to feature pies topped with Lardons signature house-cured salumi, staying true to Meadowlark Hospitalitys ingredient-driven ethos. Expect light and crushable cocktails and a thoughtful by-the-glass wine list focused on natural, easy-drinking selections ideal for warm weather. With a little help from our very own Abe Vucekovich, Lark Pizzas menu will provide patio-ready cocktails crafted with the same attention to detail found across any Meadowlark concept.
Guild Row is an innovative co-working and social space has become a hub for community and creativity in Avondale. Lark Pizza was created as both a continuation of Guild Rows community-focused mission and a new culinary destination for Chicago.

-We are looking to hire for our daytime lunch service as well as our PM dinner service. 5 SHIFTS PER WEEK PREFERRED. Strong preference for open availability.
THE IDEAL SERVER: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Candidates must have relevant experience within the hospitality industry. A strong knowledge base and passion for artisanal foods, pizza, wine and cocktails is paramount.
- Must demonstrate superior beverage knowledge, including styles, industry trends, and various other aspects of the beverage industry.
- Servers must be able to easily cultivate a memorable guest experience with a superior translation of our passion for food and beverage.
- Work as a team with all of the Meadowlark Hospitality staff in order to foster a healthy work environment as well as a successful service.
- You can multitask and feel comfortable wearing multiple hats as you guide guests through their time with us, managing the pace and sequence of service, creating an overall exceptional guest experience.
- You feel comfortable being cross trained to ensure you understand and respect every process of executing a great service.
- People ask for you by name because they loved having you as their server last time.
- Servsafe and basset/TIPS certified.
- bartending/food running experience appreciated but not required.
- Comfort in using TOAST system or coordinating POS system.
- Experience in high volume/fast pace is a plus.
- Open availability is a plus.

As with all Meadowlark Hospitality projects, craftmanship and meticulous attention to detail are paramount. Drinks take center stage with an apothecary-style approach to the art of the cocktail.
