Cashier-Food Prep

Route 66 Casino is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team across multiple food and beverage venues. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards, and assisting cooks in the efficient execution of daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a kitchen environment and is eager to grow their culinary skills in a supportive and high-energy setting.

Candidates should have experience working in busy kitchens and be familiar with basic food prep techniques, knife skills, and sanitation practices. The ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude is essential. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and Serv-Safe Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire .
Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening required.
