Your Role: As Host, you are the face and first impression of Momento Cantina. You greet every guest with genuine energy and style, manage reservations and walk-ins with precision, and maintain a flow that keeps vibes high and wait times low. You dont just seat guests you set them up for a memorable night.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they leave
Manage reservations and waitlist using our system efficiently
Communicate table statuses and guest needs clearly with servers and managers
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
Be aware of VIPs, special occasions, and high-profile tables
Assist with guest recovery when needed stay calm, professional, and solutions-oriented
Uphold Momentos vibe: upbeat, elevated, and always authentic
You Are:
Quick on your feet and calm under pressure
Naturally warm, with a strong presence and polished appearance
Excellent with time management and multitasking
A team player who uplifts those around you
Tech-savvy enough to navigate reservation systems and POS software
Punctual, reliable, and professional
Requirements:
Prior host or customer-facing experience preferred, but not required
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
