Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and efficient Food Truck Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude. As the face of our food truck, you will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting with orders, and providing a welcoming experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
Operate a POS (Point of Sale) system to process payments (cash, card, mobile)
Answer customer questions about the menu and make recommendations
Communicate orders clearly with the kitchen staff
Ensure accuracy of orders and handle customer concerns with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness of cashier station and front-of-house area
Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages as needed
Assist in setup and breakdown of the food truck as needed
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Dependable and punctual
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Team player with a flexible attitude
