Vesta is a popular new neighborhood restaurant in North Yarmouth, Maine. We are owner-operated. We specialize in authentic regional Italian and eastern Mediterranean fare, as well as craft cocktails and local drafts. All of our bread and pasta is made from scratch, on location. We pride ourselves on utilizing local products, when available. We also pride ourselves on a positive and supportive work atmosphere. We are growing, evolving, and improving each and every week; this requires the right people to make it happen.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Chef/Co-Owner Ramsey Fakhouri is a hard working and passionate man. That being said, he is human and it is time to hire a second in command to help us grow beyond our initial success.
The Sous Chef role will entail ordering/organizing, prep, and execution of food service. All hourly kitchen staff will report to the Sous Chef in addition to Chef Ramsey, ensuring quality and consistency standards.
COMPENSATION
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
