Description
The impact you will have: Groundskeepers maintain more than 40 properties across San Jose Unified, ensuring our grounds are beautiful, clean, and safe for our 30,000 students and 3,000 employees. Our Head Groundskeeper identifies and addresses San Jose Unified's facility needs by providing training, mentorship, and support, as well as by performing grounds duties at various sites. Who you are: You have prior experience performing skilled or semi-skilled maintenance work related to electrical or low-voltage service. You have stronganizational and time management skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate, prioritize, and plan the work of self and others. You are able tomunicate effectively and build positive relationships.
Who you are: An experienced groundskeeper, you are a detail-oriented professional who has excellentmunication and time management skills and amitment to customer service and safety. You work well independently and within a team, and enjoy coaching and developing others. You best practices and have a desire to continuously improve.
As a Lead Maintenance you will be assisting with the managing and (not limited to):
Ground Maintenance and Upkeep
Irrigation & Equipment
Safety and Compliance
Inventory & Coordination
Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
What you need for this position:
Completion of 12th grade or an equivalentbination of education, experience, and training
California driver's license
California Class A driver's license
Forklift certificate
Resume and Letter of Introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position
