Janitor and Maintenance Position

The historic Ursuline Centre currently has an opening for a part-time Janitorial/maintenance position.* Maintain cleanliness of building interior, exterior and seasonal grounds keeping and snow removal* Communicate effectively with office staff on setup needs and general repairs* Responsible for setting up and taking down meeting rooms; moving tables, chairs and furniture* General carpentry, plumbing, and repair skills and knowledge preferred* Ability to make sound decisions with attention to detail* Excellent ability to follow-through on tasks and work independently* Able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. with assistance as necessary* Ability to do strenuous activities requiring physical stamina, including lifting, climbing, and bending* Low-pressure steam boiler experience or license preferred but not necessary* Benefits include meal program, optional SIMPLE IRA program, paid vacation pay and holidays* A background check is requiredThe Ursuline Centre is an EOE.
