Job Description: Note: This is a tipped position. Pay is the NYS minimum for tipped employees ($10.35/hr. plus $5.15/hr. tip credit when applicable) plus tips. We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled bartenders to join our team and play a pivotal role in promoting and enhancing our menu and beverage offerings. Welcome guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders Plan drink menus and inform guests about new beverages and specials Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to order Build a rapport with guests by creating a positive and energetic atmosphere Check identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol Required Qualifications: 1 or more years of bartending experience in an upscale and/or fine dining establishment Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and related specialty beverages Preferred Qualifications: Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/or alcohol awareness programs Completion of a reputable bartending course Experience creating craft cocktails Who is Wegmans Food Markets?
