Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced chef to support our upcoming cafe venture. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthy cooking, has strong kitchen skills, and is excited to grow into a dynamic culinary role.
About the Role:
Location: Vancouver
Start Date: Mid July
Schedule: Part Time (20hrs/ week) Transition to full time in late September
Prepare batch cooked meals for a team of 20
- Prepare meal prep for my husbands lunches.
Role will expand in September 2025 to include prepping pastries, sandwiches and batch cooked meals for the cafe at a large scale.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong background in healthy meal prep and home-style cooking
Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation
Ability to work independently, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and take direction
Experience with pastries, baked goods, or cafe-style service is a plus

Creative and excited to collaborate on menus and cafe offerings
