Barback, Busser and Food Runner

Experience: Minimum of six months Barback, Busser and Food Runner experience is required for this position.

Education: Not a factor

Language: English required (Spanish is a plus) to communicate with clients and staff.

** Bilingual preferred

Driver's License: Not required for this position

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age or older per policy

- Must obtain a TABC License

- Must obtain a Food Handlers Certification

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Must be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages safely

- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

Duties:

- The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience

- This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service

- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately

- Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table

- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service

- Handle cash transactions using the POS system, if required

- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring that all food items are presented beautifully

- Help maintain inventory of supplies and report any shortages to management

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly
