**SUMMARY:**

This position has up to a $1,000 hiring bonus

The

Building Maintenance Technician

Jr.is responsible for assisting with the hotel building maintenance and refurbishment of the building components to ensure quality guest experience.

**MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:**

- Performs routine inspections and repairs of guest rooms, hallways, stairwells and back of house areas

- Repairs drywall, paint, wallpaper, furniture, doors and minor electrical and plumbing when needed

- Conducts regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:**

- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs to the facility or ability to learn job tasks efficiently

- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure

- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 pounds

- Available to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays and weekends as needed

- Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.
