LMNOP Bakery is looking for an energetic, passionate, and responsible baker with experience, knowledge and skills in production baking and sourdough fermentation. An LMNOP Baker is responsible for assisting in daily production operations of the bakery, working efficiently and effectively with the BOH team to ensure products are made to the highest standards.
We are looking for bread bakers who have experience with whole grains and sourdough fermentation. Knowledge in mixing and and shaping both lean and enriched doughs including croissant/laminate dough, ryes, einkorn, and buckwheat. Depending on the applicant, 20-40 hour position. Early shifts (3am start) as well as weekend availability a must.
Essential skills:
- Being able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to spend long days on feet
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong independant worker as well as with a team
- Excellent communication with bake team/FOH/management
- Adaptable to varying needs of production
- Good work ethic
- Maintain quality control, with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Awareness of time sensitive projects, and delivering for service on time
- Food handlers license required
- Weekend/Holiday availability required
Daily tasks:
- Scaling, mixing, shaping, doughs and batters
- Baking breads and pastries to LMNOP standards
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Working independently as well as with the bread team to execute daily bake
- Manage and maintain inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Compensation
* This position is hourly, varies DOE, $19-23
