Role Purpose: Provide cleaning and maintenance in and around the facility.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
+ Maintain neat and sanitary conditions in restrooms and ensure soap and paper products are always available.
+ Gather, empty, and discard trash.
+ Sweep and mop floors.
+ Maintain the overall appearance of the facility.
+ Monitor janitorial supplies and requisition new supplies as necessary.
+ Keep supply closets neat and organized.
+ Safely use manual and electric cleaning tools in adherence with the companys safety policies
+ Shovel/remove snow and apply salt as needed on exterior walkways.
+ Report items that need repair
+ Assist with maintenance activities.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Two -five years in janitorial or custodial role preferred.
+ A good knowledge of cleaning products and cleaning tools required.
+ Basic knowledge of plumbing systems as it applies to cleaning preferred.
+ Drywall repair and painting preferred.
+ Ability to perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry a plus
