QUALIFICATIONS
__High school diploma or equivalent.
__Health and inoculation certificate on file in the Central Office.
__Experience in landscaping and grounds work
__Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
__Desire to continue career improvement

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
__Maintains school grounds in top condition to ensure full and productive use of facilities
__Ensures that all activities conform to district guidelines
__Communicates effectively with all members of the school district and community
__Appropriately operates all equipment and machinery as required
__Supports the value of an education
__Supports the philosophy and mission of USD 250

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
__Requires prolonged sitting or standing.
__Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
__Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning and reaching.
__Requires climbing and balancing.
__Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.
__Must work in noisy and crowded environments.
__Must work in and around dust, fumes and odors.
