Organization Alternative Court Program Pay $0.00 Pay Frequency Monthly Full Time / Part Time Full time Job Summary DEFINITION Under general supervision, receives visitors and callers, provides information and performs various clerical duties for the Alternative Court Programs by performing the following duties. Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Receive visitors and caller; determine nature of business and supplies information, as authorized; direct individual to proper person through the use of Microsoft Teams and text messaging. Answer incoming telephone calls and refer to proper individual, take messages or handle in the most appropriate manner. Receive, sort, stamp and distribute mail. Will receive, and sign for, if necessary, all incoming mail via USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc., and notifying appropriate staff of items. Will assist staff with copying needs, mailings, filing, etc., as requested. Primary individual responsible for maintaining the appearance the office/conference rooms/kitchen/common hallway, etc. The receptionist will be responsible to completing critical data entry daily utilizing a Salesforce platform. Type correspondence, reports and other material for staff. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Education equivalent to graduation from a standard four-year high school, supplemented by a course in typing, and over one year work experience as receptionist or related work. Prior experience working within the justice system, working knowledge of computer systems, and a welcoming demeanor aligned with proper customer service engagement. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required.
