Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts

Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift

PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Cook II is responsible for assisting the sous chef with the supervision of cooks in the level I position and the preparation and presentation of the daily menus (especially high-quality specials, soups, stew and chilies).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce flavorful dishes adhering to production standards and time constraints
Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef
Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished
Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
Completed daily inventories
Assist servers during busy times
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous kitchen experience required
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

PAY RATE:
Pay: $22.50 per hour
