Job Description:

Retail Cleaner needed to work for a locally owned business in Presque Isle. Flexible daytime schedule no previous experience required! Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. $16.00/hr.

The Retail Cleaner will dust and organize store shelves. Employee will remove trash and debris, wipe down surfaces, sort product, and organize displays as directed. Prior professional cleaning and/or custodial experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize shelves, display cases, and other surfaces throughout the store in an efficient and organized manner.
• Remove, sort, and re-organize sales displays, ensuring that unsold products are appropriately stored and not damaged during cleaning.
• Clean up trash, debris, stains, and spills.
• Set aside damaged or spoiled items so that they can be counted and appropriately disposed of.
• Return unsold items to cleaned display areas, paying close attention to ensure that labels and prices match.
• Keep accurate task records so that staff can determine which areas are clean and which require maintenance.
• Perform other relevant duties as requested.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of common cleaning products and procedures.
• Strong reading comprehension; must be able to re-shelve products by matching labels and price tags appropriately.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach overhead with ease.
• Good attention to detail.

Schedule: Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Pay: $16.00/hr.
