Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
Essential Duties
- Proper washing, sanitizing, and restocking of plates and cookware.
- Maintain consistent weekly kitchen cleaning projects
- Read labels and proper usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Keep loading and delivery area safe and organized
- Maintain inventory rotation in walk-in coolers, freezer, and dry storage
- Assist kitchen workstations; Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Plate Ups
- Assist in daily food preparation as needed. Basic cold food prep
- Practice safe knife skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with guest, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to lift more than 30-40 pounds
