Salon Receptionist (KCC STUDENTS ONLY)

JOB SUMMARY

Klamath Community College's Cosmetology department is currently seeking a Salon Receptionist to work at 357 E Main Street. The candidate selected for this position must have availability between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Work hours will be scheduled based on availability, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Applicants should indicate their availability within this timeframe when applying.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. • Provide front desk coverage
• Greet clients in a friendly yet professional manner
• Answer the telephone
• Provide information about available services
• Book client appointments
• Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to check clients in and out
• Operate cash register and provide accurate change
• Data entry

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

• Must be a current student at Klamath Community College and be enrolled in classes during the term you are working

• The work environment is indoors.
• This position requires sitting, standing, walking and pushing/pulling carts.
