SERVER and BARTENDER

Station House Cafe seeks an experienced SERVER and a BARTENDER to join our fantastic team of restaurant professionals. Minimum experience: One year in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

SERVER:

Prior experience in a high-volume, full-service, fast-paced restaurant is expected. However, if you have server experience and feel you are prepared for the challenge we are happy to discuss the position with you. After training, we expect our staff to be fluent with the details of our food, beverage, style of service and community. Weekends and holidays are required (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.) For the qualified candidate, this could be a combination of bartending and wait shifts or two separate positions.

Additionally, we have BARTENDER shifts available. This is a rare opportunity as our staff is generally long-term and openings are few. We have a full bar - spirits, beer & wine - centered in our still-new, remodeled facility. If you are great with people; creative with craft cocktails; meticulous with your work - come see us! Significant experience in a high-volume, full bar is necessary for success in this position.

Located in the heart of downtown Point Reyes Station on Highway One in West Marin (an easy commute from Petaluma, Fairfax, Novato, San Rafael), we are a full-service restaurant and bar. In 2023 we relocated to our beautiful, completely remodeled, original building in downtown Point Reyes Station where we first began in 1964 - at the corner of 3rd St. & Main/Highway One.

We are a fast-paced, restaurant and bar with a solid local following and a seasonal, bustling tourist clientele. Located next to the Point Reyes National Seashore, we welcome guests from the Greater Bay Area and all over the world.

Bartending position requirements:

A talent and ability to create and produce premium, fresh, seasonal cocktails as well as consistent classics.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Food service at the bar.

Willingness to work as a congenial and respectful participant in our team dynamic.

An interest in building professional relationships in the community.

High standards for warm, professional hospitality.

Strong work ethic.

Previous bartending experience required.
