Chef/owner Tomer Blechman of the popular Mediterranean restaurant Miss Ada in Fort Greene and its sister concept Nili in Carroll Gardens opens his newest concept, Theodora with co-owner Gerardo Estevez. Theodora is a progression of Miss Ada, taking the community Tomer built. At the heart of Theodora is an inviting open kitchen focusing on fresh and dry-aged seafood and open-fire cooking.
We are seeking strong, hospitality minded bartender to join our team. This role is a perfect fit for a bartender with both high volume and craft cocktail experience. The bar program is thoughtfully designed with a focus on mezcal.
Professional Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a cocktail bartending role
- Interest in natural wine, (professional experience selling natural wine is a plus)
- Full and flexible availability
- A career mindset towards restaurants
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 7 hours]
- Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
- Be comfortable bending, sitting, walking extended distances including up and down flights of stairs, and moving.
