This role is responsible for cooking, assisting in food prepping, serving food from counters and steamtables, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workstations.**ABOUT YOU**You will have an opportunity to use your professional expertise to engage with students and our guests. At AIDB, we are limitless, and so are the possibilities for your professional growth and fulfillment.**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and 70 lbs. with assistance.Must be able to follow a recipe.Must be able to perform physical requirements of position, including but not limited to standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**High School Diploma or equivalentServsafe Certification.Two (2) years of cafeteria experience in a school or residential setting.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**Prep food items for meal service, cooking, and serving of meals to students, staff, and guests.Wash dishes and put up dishes.Keep the work area clean and hazard-free.Help maintain and clean kitchen equipment.Follow the cleaning schedule.Put away inventory.Keep storage areas clean and organized.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.Must attend ServSafe Food Safety training and sit for the certification exam within three (3) months of employment.A sign language proficiency level of SURVIVAL according to the AIDB evaluation system must be obtained within the first thirty-six (36) months of employment.Upon offer of employment, the applicant must submit to a fingerprint background check at an agency designated and paid by AIDB**Salary: $13.71 - $15.87 Scale C4 Rank 24 230 Days E.H.
