Cleaner (Part-time, 2nd shift)
Hours: 3:30 PM-7:30 PM, M-F
Essential Job Functions:
-Regular daily attendance;
-Must be ambulatory; ability to walk and carry heavy items and to be able to operate all cleaning equipment;
-Must have good vision; ability to see well enough to clean standards set by supervisor or district;
-Must possess physical strength; enough strength to lift, move, and carry heavy items throughout the day;
-Intelligence; must be able to evaluate a problem, devise and implement a solution;
-Must possess social skills; must be able to work in a team environment.
Performance Responsibilities:
-Sweeping, dry and wet mopping, dusting, vacuuming, spot cleaning of carpeting, washing windows, chalkboards, walls and furniture;
-Replenishing lavatory supplies, changing light bulbs;
-Cleaning and disinfecting lavatories, locker and shower rooms;
-Laundering of physical education and kitchen items;
-Emptying waste receptacles, pencil sharpeners, pick up litter;
-Stock handling, replenishing supplies, replacing light bulbs;
-Vacuums carpets and other flooring;
-Other activities related to job goals as required
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of cleaning procedures;
- High School diploma or GED
