**Primary Function**
**The Area Project Person is a position within the line of operations of C&W Services. The incumbent is responsible for performing the day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas. Basic responsibilities to include any combination of the following: Restroom cleaning of fixtures, floors, walls; all surfaces in the restrooms; the emptying of waste baskets; vacuuming, dusting, spot cleaning, glass surfaces, upholstered surfaces; floor cleaning (including sweeping, scrubbing, buffing). Specific responsibilities for everyone are determined by client expectations, Account Manager/Supervisor discretion, and cleaner capabilities and experience. This position is across three mall locations.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Coverage of absences and open positions as requested.
+ Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
+ Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
+ Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W Services approved procedures.
+ Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition and notifies the Account Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary.
+ Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
+ Always works safely and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area.
+ Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
+ Meets all client and C&W Services quality expectations in assigned tasks.
+ Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
+ Adheres to proper security procedures.
+ Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the client.
+ Washing of windowsills; glass in interior doors and specified windows.
+ Washing glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
+ Performs other cleaning-related duties as required.
+ Performs restroom cleaning procedures:
+ Damp wipe glass surfaces
+ Disinfecting all surfaces
+ Empty all waster receptacles.
+ Restocking of dispensers
+ Dust sills, etc.
+ Washing of toilets, sinks, urinals, tile walls, shelves, stall partitions
+ Sweep, mopping or auto scrubbing of floors.
+ Monitors defects, such as clogged urinals and lights out, and reports to the supervisor.
+ Performs floor care procedures:
+ Damp mop and spray buff, wash floors
+ Stripping and waxing floors
+ Performs periodic work:
+ High dusting, leather, and wood surface (non-floor) polishing, wall washing, as assigned by the Supervisor.
+ Occasional over time is mandatory to help with special projects.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $17.00 - $17.00
