We are hiring a per diem Receptionist to join our dynamic care team at Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! Various hours with weekly up starting at $15 an hour. Shift options are 8a-4p, 9a-2p, or 5p-8p. Working with our team and residents will give you purpose in your professional and personal life. As our receptionist, you perform clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. Experience & Education: + A minimum of two (2) years experience in a clerical position, or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school/college, is preferred. + Must have a working knowledge of filing and respect for confidentiality. Duties & Responsibilities: + Utilize proper phone etiquette. + Receive and direct all persons entering the facility to appropriate areas. + Responsible for general typing and secretarial functions. + Distribute paychecks per policy and procedure. + Is responsible to receive and direct incoming mail and deliveries appropriately. + Demonstrate correct safety techniques. + Respect and take care of facility equipment and not wasteful of supplies. + Contribute to and promote resident and family relations. + Knowledgeable in facility's Privacy Practice and complies by protecting all residents' health information. + Other duties as assigned by manager. Specific Requirements: + Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. + Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations. + Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. + Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures and guidelines. + Must possess a cheerful personality and be ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. + Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices. + Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. + Has knowledge of personnel application procedures. + Must be able to type 50 words per minute. + Is knowledgeable of all office equipment.
