Responsibilities include efficiently handling guestregistration, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, andaccurately collecting payments. Provides essential property information,answering any questions to enhance the guest experience whilemaintaining exceptional service standards.\Responsibilities\Fully understand and support Xanterras Mission Statement, CulturalPillar, Community Commitment, and Core Values.\Registers guests and creates a positive first and last impression,ensuring guests feel valued and well-informed throughout their stay.\Ensures a positive attitude, strong communication, attention to detail,and commitment to outstanding service at all times.\Adheres to established Xanterra GCR front desk procedures whileefficiently performing assigned duties, ensuring accuracy, consistency,and exceptional guest service in all interactions.\Achieves proficiency in Opera for hotel registration within 30 days ofemployment while strictly adhering to all established money-handlingpolicies and procedures to ensure accurate and secure transactions.Handles guest accounts properly including the posting of charges, andcollection of payments.\Ensures strict guest security by properly handling and controlling keys,issuing them only to authorized individuals, and safeguarding guestinformation in compliance with privacy and security policies.\Stays informed of property details, including hours of operation,activities, and amenities, and actively provides guests with accurateinformation about Grand Canyon Railway and Grand Canyon National Park toenhance the guest experience.\Responds promptly to guest requests or complaints; taking ownership ofthe issue and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution, whileinvolving the supervisor as necessary.\Answers incoming calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette, andaddressing guest needs quickly and efficiently to ensure excellentservice and a positive guest experience.\Collaborates with the resort Housekeeping and Bell Staff department tomaintain accurate and up-to-date room status information, ensuringefficient room availability, luggage service, and guest satisfaction.\Adheres to all Xanterra GCR lost and found procedures, PCI, Safety, andEnvironmental policies.\Adapts to changing priorities and tasks directed by the supervisor,demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to meetingoperational needs.\Other duties as assigned
