Description

Oversees aprehensive preventive maintenance program which includes the repair of broken and failing equipment, keeping record of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment and services. Inspects diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in utility vehicles, sweepers, mowers, tractors, and other mechanical equipment used on the golf course. Repairs differentials, carburetors, duel pumps, steering systems, starters, generators, universal joints, hydraulic systems and high pressure pumps and valves. Complete overhaul on mower reels Winter Months ready for next season. Installs batteries, tires and wiring. May do some welding and cutting work in making fixings used in automotive equipment. Sets moving height of all mowers to ensure exact cutting height specified by supervisors.
