Little Mountain is looking for dedicated and hardworking Dishwashers to support our kitchen team in creating a seamless and efficient work environment. This role is the backbone of a well-run kitchen, ensuring all equipment, tools, and workspaces meet rigorous cleanliness standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all cookware, utensils, dishes, and glassware, ensuring they are ready for immediate use by the culinary and service teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish area, including sinks, shelves, and equipment, throughout the shift.
- Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently, troubleshoot minor issues, and report any maintenance needs to the management team.
- Monitor cleaning supply levels and restock as necessary, notifying management of any shortages.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and floors during and after service to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Manage trash, recycling, and compost removal, adhering to local regulations and sustainability practices.
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing equipment, cleaning vents, and descaling dishwashers, to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to provide additional support during service, such as retrieving items, assisting with prep tasks, or organizing storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with all California health and safety regulations, maintaining a workspace that meets or exceeds inspection standards.
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $19.00) plus tips
