Duties & Responsibilities- Upholds Starbucks and the Arizona Student Unions standards by providing consistently excellent customer experience, and superb product quality.
- Prepares and serves espresso/coffee products and serves pastries and other products, while maintaining Starbucks standards.
- Sets up/closes espresso bar, pastry case.
- Replenishes workstation as needed and maintains a clean working environment.
- Keeps work area clean and makes sure all temperatures are correct.
- Sets up and breaks down all production areas.
- Takes and rings up orders accurately.
- Works harmoniously with co-workers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Swipes CatCard, Starbucks Card, Credit/Debit Card, or accepts money and returns correct change.
- Manages the cash register as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Starbucks culture, values, and mission.
- Knowledge of sanitation and quality food service standard.
- Knowledge of weights and measure.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able occasionally transport/move a maximum of 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma required; OR, high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
