JOB SUMMARY
Little Mountain is looking for exceptional Servers who are passionate about food, wine, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. This role requires a balance of elegance, attentiveness, and precision to deliver a high-level service. The Server will guide guests through a thoughtful dining experience, mastering the art of storytelling and connection while showcasing the best of Little Mountains menu and wine program.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide warm, attentive, and detail-oriented service to every guest.
- Memorize and effectively communicate all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation, dietary restrictions, and beverage program.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions to elevate their experience.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of the dining room.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety standards.
- Participates in training and educational opportunities that develop an understanding of restaurant menus and operations.
- Support additional front-of-house projects as needed.

HEALTH & SAFETY
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene, in line with California Department of Health guidelines.
- Must maintain active California RBS certification and proper handling and storage of all alcoholic beverages.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in upscale or fine dining environments.
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in elevated dining or Michelin-starred environments is highly preferred but not required.
- Advanced wine knowledge or certifications such as WSET is a plus; knowledge of sustainable and local beverage sourcing is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Involves standing and walking the entire shift.
- Requires using hands to perform daily tasks.
- Involves frequent reaching, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly during the shift.
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
