We are : Good To Eat Taiwanese Cuisine, located in a nice neighborhood around Emeryville/West Berkeley . We do upsacle quality casual, Craft-minded and Chef-driven daily changed menu dinner place with beer and sake pairing.
We are an indie restaurant, community's favorite, serving elevated asian (taiwanese) small plates with beer and sake.

It's a great opportunity to join our amazing team of 12. (6 FOH and 6 BOH). We are a women-led, immigrant-led restaurant prioritize on building a healthy working environment for all of us to focus on food craft and hospitality career.

We now in search of experienced line cook to join our team. We will have a full time opening soon in late August. 90% of our team members are all full time and work closely together with pride and focus on food and hospitality career. we have couple of part-time team member too.

We are currently looking for 3 positions:

[Position open now: Full Time BOH team,, Cold app ]
- This position is full time
- Join our strong back of house team. We work closely together everyone to execute all the food craft details.
- Working days WED-SAT, 2:30~10:30pm . you will start from prepping, and during the service we run the service together.
- Daytime prep: we expect you have basic knowledge and skill for the kitchen prep. and will support fermentation and pickling as well
- you will be making sauce, doing fermentation and pickling, slicing ...for cold apps
- Evening dinner service: you will start from cold app station, and prepare to be trained on hot line stations too
- This position need speed and multi-tasking skill a lot as we are a fast-paced kitchen
- Qualifications: 2 years of professional kitchen experience is preferred, Worked in indie restaurant or quality indie asian restaurant is preferred . if you don't meet these criteria, please give us more intro about yourself and we will evaluate.

[Position open now: Pastry Chef/ Pastry cook]
We are looking pastry chef and / or pastry cook for our team
- working hours Wed-SAT 9:00~4:00.
- this position can be part-time, or can be full time too
- execute our daily dessert with our executive chef
- current product line : cheese cake, cookie, steam bun, sourdough proofing .....
- work with our executive chef side by side for R&D projects
- help on savory prep if needed
- This position is not a junior position. since we involved R&D at our daily work, we are not able to train your from the basics. Prior and recent pastry experience is required.

[Position open soon: Front of house, Server]
We are also looking for 1 more full time server
- Table service experiences required. You need to be able top handle 7 ~9 tables at the same time .
(if you don't have table service experience , but worked at counter with super busy multitasking experience and you are willing to learn table service. please share more your thoughts in the cover letter we will review)
- able to and confidently serve table with seasonal, daily changed menu
- we look for servers that has passion to meet new people, try new flavors, and has passion to create good memories and dining experience for the community
- this position will open by July. this is not for summer only work. we are hiring for full time. ok to start PT.
