Samaritan's Purse is seeking an organized and meticulous individual to serve as a Housekeeper for our Samaritan Inn in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to assist the Housekeeping department, while simultaneously ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are well-maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage their exceptional organization and hospitality skills to enhance our guests experience. This position is first shift: 7:30AM 4:00PM ( occasional weekends required )

A day in the life of a Housekeeper:

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Him.
• Clean and refresh guest rooms thoroughly based upon room status
• Greets guests as you see them in a warm friendly manner, assist as needed
• Maintain cleaning schedule priorities by following room assignment list
• Conduct room inspections to ensure standards are met
• Communicate guest room status to the Lead Housekeeper
• Clean common areas and public restrooms as assigned
• Complete deep cleaning duties as assigned
• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers.
• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, Samaritan Inn guests, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.
• Other duties as assigned
