Custodian - 2nd Shift

Location: Ross Middle School Position Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (12-month position) Hours: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM]

Position Summary: Ross Middle School is seeking a reliable and hardworking 2nd Shift Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is essential in supporting daily school operations and evening events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces and fixtures

• Remove trash and recyclables from the building

• Set up and tear down for school events, activities, and rentals

• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report major issues

• Secure the building at the end of the shift

• Follow safety protocols and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Support emergency clean-ups as needed (spills, weather-related issues, etc.)
