Job Details I Cavallini will be opening in early July and we are looking for hard-working and detail oriented dishwashers for full-time employment.We are a fast paced upscale casual restaurant looking to add the right candidate.
You will be responsible for working within a team to ensure tools,
delicate plates, silverware and more within the restaurant are clean and organized.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be on duty and in uniform at scheduled time
- Maintain a clean kitchen and other areas as requested, keep the dish area organized and free of clutter.
- Set up dishwashing stations, including dish machines and sinks.
- Ensure floors are clean and dry throughout your shift.
- Carefully handle delicate plates in a timely manner.
- Wash, stack, and store glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers properly.
- Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more frequently as needed, while correctly using chemical dilutions.
- Maintain trash cans during your shift and remove full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
- Support the chef with any additional tasks as required.
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chefs knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.
- Includes working in refrigerated areas and on surfaces that can be wet and slippery
- Typically, maintains a moderate noise level
- Working in proximity to and using common commercial cleaning agents
- Required to stoop and climb ladders or step stools
- As needed, position requires sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs
- Consistently required to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance
- Work performed requires medium physical strength
- Consistently required to use near and peripheral vision, in addition to depth perception Schedule Demands
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00)
